IPCC Result May 2014 Exams .
IPCC exam is held twice a year . It is conducted by ICAI i.e. Institute of Chartered Accountants of India . Result for these exams is generally declared 2 months after the date of last exam .
In order to pass IPCC Exams ,a student is required to attain a minimum of 40 marks in each of the four subject .Apart from that , there is an additional requirement of 50 % in aggregate out of total marks . Total marks for IPCC group 1 are 400 and for IPCC group 2 are 300 based on the number of subject in each group . A student is eligible to claim set off if he or she attempts both groups of IPCC at one time .

IPCC exams have been divided into 2 groups. A student is required to obtain an aggregate of 50% in all subjects and a minimum of 40 marks in each subject in order to clear IPCC May 2014 exams. Students have the option of appearing for one group at a time or both groups in a single attempt. The passing criteria, however, remains the same irrespective of the student’s choice of appearing for a single group or both groups of IPCC .
According to a regulation 38A of the chartered accountants regulation 1988 the criteria to avail exemption in ipcc exams is as follows
- He or she should have appeared for all the exams in a particular group of IPCC. If the student does not appear for all the exams in a particular group, that is ,he or she is absent in one or more exams then exemption cannot be availed.
- In order to claim exemption in a particular exam the student must secure a minimum of 60 marks in that particular exam.
Limit on exemptions for IPCC May 2014 Exams
Exemption can be availed in one or more subjects subject to the fulfilment of the above-mentioned two conditions. So as such there is no limit on the number of subjects for which exemption can be claimed in IPCC My 2014 Exams .
Notification for eligibility of exemption in the Result of IPCC Exams.
The Institute of chartered accountants of India notifies a student of his/her eligibility for claiming exemption in case he or she has failed in one or both groups. This notification will be made by means of “#” symbol in the statement of marks issued with the result of IPCC May 2014 Exams. Students can find this symbol against the marks of each subject for which they are eligible to claim exemption .
Students can find the letter “E” against the subjects for which we have claimed exemption in the statement of marks for the next attempt , signifying that an exemption has been claimed and marks from IPCC May 2014 examinations have been carried forward to the next examination .

A student can apply for verification of mark sheets in case he or she feels that the marks allotted differ significantly from the marks that he or she was expecting in IPCC May 2014 exams. Students must note that the application for verification must be sent within one month of declaration of IPCC May 2014 results.
ICAI has provided two gateways to the students who wish to apply for verification of mark sheets
The two methods are off-line method and online method.
1 Off-line method for IPCC May 2014 exams
Under this method the student is required to send a handwritten application to the Institute of chartered accountants of India. This handwritten application must clearly specify:
- students name
- his or her registration number
- exam attempted i.e. IPCC
- month and year of the exam: May 2014
- roll number allotted to the candidate
- name of this subject for which the student wishes to apply for verification
- student’s address for further correspondence with ICAI
Verification fees for IPCC May 2014 exams
for IPCC May 2014 exams the verification fees is Rs.100 per subject, subject to a maximum of Rs. 400 one group/both groups.

2 Online method
The application for verification for IPCC May 2014 exams can also be made online at http://icaiexam.icai.org
in case of online application student can pay the fee via credit card or debit card. I handwritten application by student must also be scanned and uploaded on the above website.
Verification/revaluation result for IPCC May 2014 exams
It can take about 6 to 8 weeks for Institute of chartered accountants of India to declare the result of verification. In the meantime candidates are free to apply for the next examination.
Refund of verification fees for IPCC May 2014 exams
in case there is a change of marks in response to the application of the student,ICAI will automatically refund the verification fees. Students are not required to make a separate application claiming the refund of verification fees for IPCC May 2014 exams.
In case the student applies for next examination attempt and verification leads to him or her passing in IPCC May 2014 exams then, verification fees along with examination fees paid by the student for succeeding attempt will be refunded automatically .
